1、 General production process flow

Design phase

Requirement communication: Clarify the material, color, pattern, and functional requirements of the phone case (such as anti fingerprint, anti blue light, etc.).
Drawing design: Use professional software to draw 3D models, and consumers can preview and modify the design.
Mold making: High precision molds are processed using CNC machine tools, and mold testing is required to ensure stability.

Production preparation

Material selection: Match raw materials, colorants, and vulcanizing agents based on the material (such as TPU, PC, liquid silicone).
Raw material mixing: Mix the raw materials in proportion and stir evenly with a mixer.

Forming process

Injection molding (applicable to TPU, PC): Inject molten raw materials into the mold, control the temperature (TPU is 180-220 ℃) and pressure (80-120 MPa).
Sulfurization molding (liquid silicone): High temperature and high pressure (190 ℃) solidify the silicone, requiring a double slide machine to improve efficiency.
Post treatment: trimming, secondary sulfurization (silicone shell) or UV curing (spray coating process).
2、 Differences in materials and processes

3、 Production equipment and tools

Vulcanization machine: Liquid silicone shell forming (vertical double slide machine).

4、 Precautions
Quality control: TPU needs to avoid high-temperature degradation, and silicone needs to control the vulcanization time.
Cost factor: Composite materials (such as TPU+PC) balance performance and price, while Kevlar materials have higher costs.
